Warner and his team with Black Dog Services did a tremendous job on the renovation/retaining wall in our backyard. An addition to our home several years back left a complex drainage issue made significantly worse by recent heavy rains. Warner and his crew were in constant contact when it came to design, planning and execution. Literally the job was turn key from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend Black Dog Services when it comes excavation, grading, drainage and landscape/hardscape projects.
We just had our front door painted and repaired by Rick with Black Dog Services and could not be more pleased! Not only was he punctual, he was a joy to talk to and worked all day to get the job done. He was meticulous and his work got not be more beautiful! Highly recommend!
We recently hired Black Dog Services to remove several small trees and trim another tree, we couldn’t be more pleased. Warner Wright and his team were professional, punctual. Love these guys! They put in a French drain and sodded one of my daughter’s back yard, repaired a downspout drain that needed the entire line that carried the water away from the house dug up and replaced and solved another issue with a copper downspout that needed to connect with an underground drain sat my house. They are courteous, timely and above all neat!!! Each area they touched was left in better condition than they found it and then they waited and came back numerous times to make sure everything worked properly before collecting payment. Am having them install French drains and sod a lower section of my property later this summer that is extremely difficult to get to and everything will have to be done by hand. I am completely confident that we will do an excellent job!!

Hi😊. Sharon Weaver here….. I wanted to give an awesome review for my new friends at Black dog services. They recently did an overhaul on a host of overgrown shrubs in my front yard . The shrubs were meticulously landscaped and a lot of effort and time went into this job by Warner and his crew. He is so polite, financially extremely reasonable and his integrity and attention to detail were on point! They also did some foundation dirt building when they came across an issue that was causing water to potentially getting into the garage. Another great service and reasonable price. Give him , Black dog services ,your business! You will be pleased ! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. All the stars!

We just had Black Dog Services come out and do a ton of work. We had them do hedge trimming, debris, removal, tree, trimming, Pine Straw placement and pressure washing. We are highly satisfied with all the work that was done. I would give them a five star review and an A+ rating. I can highly recommend this company.

Black Dog Services is the best. They are timely, fairly priced and as professional as it gets. We are super happy with the landscaping, roof cleaning and gutter cleaning Warner and his crew did.
Warner and his crew did a wonderful job fixing our irrigation system. We had 2 other contractors come out they tried to highball us and act like they really didn’t want the work then Warner came in with a reasonable price considering the labor he had out there and materials and was happy to be doing tbe work. His guys also found some dry rotted pipes when they where working on the sprinkler heads and instead of charging us he had some left over pipe from a previous job and gave us freebie. That being said after that I asked him to give me a plan to see what we could do with a few natural areas we have. He was on top of his game with that and horticulture knowledge and design. I can’t wait to be able to have him and his crew from Black Dog Service come out and do that job. For sure 5 stars and recommend him to all my friends and family in the Birmingham Area for sure won’t be giving anyone else my business. All I can say if your reading this you might as well give your business as well he will do it right and make sure you love it.
